FLOATING EXHIBITION, THE FLEX

The participants of the Plastic Cup educational programs learn about the tricks of collecting, selecting and recycling river waste through personal experiences, in the framework of community workshops.

However, to truly understand the whole picture, a visit to a RiverSaver Center is highly recommended. The first such center established by Plastic Cup is located in Kisköre, which was developed in close cooperation with the local directorate of the The General Directorate of Water Management, Central Tisza Region Water Directore.

Another RiverSaver Center is currently under construction next to the River Bodrog. Here, visitors can not only view, but also try out River Saver innovations, including a pontoon, kayak fleet, canoe and other water-related objects made from recycled river waste.

In order to fully evaluate the innovations, the participants of the educational programs can gain insight into the detailed processes of collecting and recycling river plastic waste. Through the examination of the selected samples, they can witness first-hand how environmental waste can be turned into a circular raw material and finally a product.
